We have most of our engines professionally rebuilt by a renowned builder. However we still do a lot of work in house. Here we are getting ready to install the High Lift Cat Cam into the 5 Pot 2.2 Audi engine.
Using Lucas Assembly Lube to install the tappets. Initial Start up of a new camshaft is a crucial moment and this product ensures damage does not occur. This products safety data sheet shows a number of “trade secret” ingredients, it’s bright green and has a minty smell. Not sure if they actually aimed to make it minty, or if it’s a side effect of a rather funky chemical concoction.
