The 2013 BMW 330d is equipped with a N57D30A 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel engine, which produces 254 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. This engine uses BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology with a common rail direct injection system
Like many direct injection diesels and petrols carbon builds up in the intake manifold, this is exacerbated by the flow of exhaust gas through the intake (EGR) to reduce emissions.
