VW 1.0 TSI Walnut Blast EA211

The Volkswagen EA211 engine (EA = development order), also called modular gasoline engine kit, is a family of inline-three and inline-four petrol engines with variable valve timing developed by Volkswagen Group in 2011. With trend to downsizing this engine has appeared in a range of models from the small to medium size in the VW stable, namely Volkswagen UP! inc the UP GTI, Skoda Citigo, Skoda Fabia III, Seat Mii, Seat Ibiza, Seat Arona, Volkswagen Golf VIII, Volkswagen Polo, , Audi A1 and SEAT Leon.

Producing up to 115HP depending on the model, like all direct injection engines, the inlet ports and the backs of the valves block up due to recirculation of oil sump gases. Without a clean stream of fresh fuel (like a port injected engine) they block up strangling performance.

So if you’ve got an UP! GTI, a Skoda Fabia or something else with a 1.0 VW TSI engine in – then get in touch for a walnut blast..
