The Yaris GRMN is a real rarity. Powered by a detuned version of the supercharged 4 cylinder Toyota engine that Lotus use, this little hot hatch was the first introduction to the GR (Gazoo Racing) brand in Europe. There was a lot of European input to the project including some engineering input from Lotus. Exactly what remains unclear but this article provides some idea.
Our customer was very much in love with his car which was in immaculate condition. At only five years old we weren’t expecting to find any significant corrosion. In many respects this is the way Lanoguard should really be applied. If you protect the car from a young age, it’s going to stop expensive corrosion problems down the line.
If you look closely above you’ll see the rear silencer box that was suffering from some surface corrosion, this was visible from the rear of the car, so the customer asked us to paint this in high-temperature black paint.
So you can see, that even if your car is only 5 years old – it’s still worth speaking to us about Lanoguard!
