We’ve recently undertaken an engine rebuild, that then encompassed a Gearbox rebuild, that has now become an engine bay restoration. Old cars do that to you. You get attached to them. You want them to survive. They become a part of you. They even touch your soul.
Well here is where we are at – next steps – degrease, then steam clean, Buzzweld Rust Encapsulator in the box sections, Lhasa Green water based top coat, Clear Lacquer. Rebuilt and tuned 5 Pot 10 Valve Warbler, stick it all together and you have a retro classic. Pictures of the beautiful Giugiaro exterior to follow when complete in another post.
